    2021年度は、前年度までに分析が終了していた調査1（県内の自治体を対象とした郵送調査）と調査2（ベトナム人コミュニティでの調査）の成果発表と、調査3（範囲を拡げた地域調査）の準備を行った。 調査1では、自治体が母子保健を中心に多言語対応していることが示された一方、現場における困難事例は主にコニュニケーションに関するものであり、先行の自治体ウェブサイト分析の結果を補完することができた。国内の学会に発表し、報告書を作成して自治体などにフィードバックした。調査2では、まず、在留資格が留学であるものを抽出して分析した。先行のフィリピン人女性調査と同様にソーシャルサポートと保健医療アクセスの関連が示されたが、同じ尺度を用いたソーシャルサポートスコアはフィリピン人女性と比べてベトナム人留学生は低く分布していた。この結果は国際学会に発表し、国際誌に投稿した（現在査読中）。さらに背景を探るための質的調査を他の資金により開始した。 年度末には、第3回「愛知県で生活する外国人の保健医療アクセスを考える」フォーラムをハイブリッドで開催し、関連調査の結果も合わせて広く公表した。 調査3については、当初は、調査1で回答の得られた自治体の中から、外国人住民数もしくは割合の大きい自治体を選んで協力を依頼する計画としていた。しかし、2021年度もCOVID-19が収束しきらず、各自治体が対策やワクチン接種への対応に追われている中、調査3のデータ収集を予定通り実施できなかった。 そこで、以下のような対策を講じた。1）COVID-19が収束次第調査3のデータ収集が開始できるよう準備を進め、また、自治体以外との協働を検討した。2）実行可能な範囲で2つの関連調査を行った。（外国人コミュニティでの調査、やさしい日本語教育に関する調査）3）継続研究を計画して科研費基盤Bに前年度応募し、採択された。
