    本研究は、グローバル・イシューの中で重要なテーマとしてしられる、コーポレート・ガバナンスに関連する分析を行うものである。コーポレート・ガバナンスは、我が国の重要な経済政策として知られ、数多くの議論がなされている。平成３０年度に関しては、前年度に引き続いてコーポレート・ガバナンスのモデルの比較と検証を進めるため、最新の研究動向の調査を行った。国内だけでなく海外で行われた国際会議への参加し、文献の調査・整理を進めてきた。また、コーポレート・ガバナンスに関連するデータの収集も継続して進めることができた。 研究成果としては、いくつかの研究成果をあげることができた点である。分担者ら国内の研究者との共同研究だけでなく、海外の研究者との国際共同を進めることができた。10月にはニュージーランドの大学に所属する研究者を招聘した。これらの研究内容を論文にまとめることができた点が大きな成果といえる。いくつかの学術誌に研究成果を公刊できた。また、国際共同研究の成果を学術誌（Journal of Accounting and Management Information Systems）に公刊することができた。American Accounting Association 、International Corporate Governance Society、ANZAMなどの国際学会で研究成果を報告した。Asian Pacific Conference on International Accounting Issuesでは、これまで進めてきた海外の研究者との国際共同研究の成果を報告することができた。

    自然科学のように、人工的な実験を行うことが困難な社会科学にとって、自然災害の影響を分析することは学術的な意義は高い。また、予測が難しい外生的なショックが与える効果を分析することで、社会システムの健全性の検証にも役立つことであるといえる。本研究では、証券を扱う証券市場のような直接金融に注目し、外生的なショックが金融市場に与える効果を分析することとなった。平成30年度に関しては、前年度と引き続き最新の研究動向の確認を進めることとなった。文献の調査と並行して、国内外の学会や会議などで行われている最新の議論に関しても、調査を進める必要がある。本研究を遂行するため、国際会議などに参加し、近年の研究の進展の確認も行った。 また、データに関する分析も進めることができた。具体的には、関連分野における課題をまとめる中で、市場の流動性に与える影響を分析することができた。データから得られた知見を論文としてまとめることができた。研究成果をResearch in International Business and Finance、International Review of Economics & Finance、ゆうちょ資産研究などといった学術誌に研究成果を公刊できた。論文に関しては、International Congress on Banking, Economics, Finance, and Business、Academy of International Business、International Corporate Governance Societyなどで報告する機会をえることができ、いくつかのコメントを得ることができた。次年度においては、文献調査と並行して、さらなる考察を進める予定である。

    T h e purpose of this study is to investigate important issues relatedto corporate governance in Japan. At first, this project focuses on Japanese executivecompensation structure using of the individual compensation data from “Kogaku NozeishaBanduke”or newly disclosed data which is publicly available since 2010. Second, thisproject also aims to shed light on corporate governance issue in the banking Industry.In concrete, bank board structure and outside stakeholders such as taxpayer money wouldbe a source of unique corporate governance features of Japanese banking industry. Thirdly,I try to analyze the corporate governance of Initial Public Offerings (IPO) firms. I didjoint project of International Corporate Governance, and our paper was published byCambridge University Press. In addition, I investigate relation between corporategovernance and market liquidity or asymmetric information in financial market. This paper was presented at many International Conferences and Workshos
