Many municipalities have difficulty owning and maintaining public facilities due to aging facilities and tight financial conditions. First, we categorized according to the transition of public facility development and financial situation in each local government, and showed the ideal public facility development strategy that each local government should take in the future.
In addition, in a wide area consisting of multiple local governments, we grasped the actual situation of accessibility and facility quantity for each activity of residents in public facilities.
Then, we clarified the scenario of consolidation and decentralization of public facilities, mutual use with private facilities, positioning as an evacuation facility, construction method through public-private partnership, etc., and showed the ideal way of wide-area and cross-sectional reorganization of public facilities.
