    2021年度は仮想結び目の不変量の研究を行なった。古典的結び目ダイアグラムの各アークにはあるルールにそって番号付けができる。その番号付けをAlexander numberingと呼ぶ。しかし、仮想結び目ダイアグラムは常にAlexander numberingを持つとは限らない。Alexander numberingを持つ仮想結び目ダイアグラムをalmost classicalと呼ぶ。Goeritz不変量は仮想結び目ダイアグラムに対応している2種類のalmost classical仮想結び目ダイアグラムを用いて2種類定義される仮想結び目の不変量である。2021年度はこれらのGoeritz不変量のうち1つがある種の変形で不変となることを明らかにした。この不変量は溶接結び目の不変量でもある。 仮想結び目にoriented cut pointを付随させることによってAlexander number付可能となるが、このようなoriented cut pointの集合をcut systemと呼ぶ。 このcut systemとSatohとTaniguchiによって導入された仮想結目の不変量であるn-writheの関係を明らかにした。この関係からAlmost classicalな仮想結び目のn-writheは0であることを示すことができる。また、mを法とした剰余類でAlexander number付可能性な仮想結び目ダイアグラムをmod m almost classicalな仮想結び目ダイアグラムというが、mod m almost classicalな仮想結び目のn-writheはmを法として0となることも示すことができる。 さらに仮想結目ダイアグラムのincoherent double coverはalmost classicalなダイアグラムとある種の同値関係があることを示した。

    カンドルの概念を一般化するバイカンドルと対称カンドルについて研究を行った。バイカンドルの定義の見直しを行い、幾何的により自然な形の公理を導き出した。バイカンドル上に仮想結び目とねじれ仮想結び目に対応する２種類の構造を導入し、与えられたカンドルから新たにバイカンドルを構成する方法も与えた。簡単で効率的にバイカンドルを構成することができる。対称カンドルの表示法に関する研究を行い、高次元の多様体結び目の基本対称カンドルの表示をダイアグラムから求める方法を得た。
