- 日本学術振興会：科学研究費助成事業 若手研究Date (from‐to) : 2019/02 -2023/03Author : 吉川 寛美本研究は、病院外来における保護者の感染予防に関わる認識と手指等の汚染の実態を明らかにすることで、保護者および小児の適切な衛生認識と行動のための看護支援を構築することを最終目的としており、感染予防に関する保護者の認識と行動の実態、保護者と小児の手指や持参玩具の汚染の実態、保護者の感染予防に関わる認識の違いによる手指や玩具の汚染度の違いを明らかにすることを目的としている。 令和元年度（平成31年度）は、保護者と小児の手指や玩具の汚染の実態調査の実施に向けた、手指のサンプリング方法の検討を行った。調査に使用する予定であった清浄度調査の機器がリニューアルされ、検査試薬も変更となったため、旧試薬と変更後の試薬による測定値の違いなど情報収集を行い、機器や検査試薬の使用について検討を行った。 本研究に先行して実施した研究の結果を再度分析し、病院外来における小児の高頻度接触部位とその汚染の実態から、本研究における汚染の実態調査において、持参玩具の調査の必要性について再検討した。 新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大により、研究協力施設との調整に時間を要している。さらに新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大は、本研究の研究結果に影響を及ぼすと考えられることから、研究方法や内容の再考が必要となり、検討を進めている。今後は、本研究の研究目的達成に向け、質問紙調査の調査方法等研究方法や内容のさらなる検討を進め、調査開始に向け調整を進めていく。
- Japan Society for the Promotion of Science：Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research Grant-in-Aid for Research Activity Start-upDate (from‐to) : 2016/08 -2018/03Author : YOSHIKAWA Hiromi; YANO Hisako; MURABATA Mayumi; SUMIDA Chizuko; SUZU MisatoWe investigated hygienic control of toys and the care environment in pediatric outpatient with the aim of preventing healthcare-associated infections. Three surveys were conducted in two facilities: (1) a questionnaire and behavior observation survey of 89 children and the adults accompanying them, (2) a questionnaire of infection control nurses, and (3) a cleanliness survey using an adenosine triphosphate (ATP) test before and after toys and 327 locations in the care environment were cleaned. In the waiting rooms, 20 of 66 children (30.3%) touched the floor. Picture book and fabric toys were considered difficult to take care in the hygienic control. The ATP level (median value) was 5,063 relative light units (RLU) before cleaning and 2,608 RLU after cleaning (p < 0.001). These findings demonstrate that there hygienic control of toys and other playthings can be improved in pediatric outpatient.

We conducted a survey targeting 428 outpatient staffs (medical/non-medical staffs) at 3 hospitals in Prefecture A. We measured antibody titers for measles and other infections and investigated the implementation status of infection control measures. Our analysis of the results revealed that better education was needed for the staffs to understand the need for vaccination. We then conducted a survey targeting 1,369 medical institutions nationwide and obtained response from 570 institutions (41.6%). From analysis, we found that influenza (84.7%) and tuberculosis (75.4%) were needed to conduct the infection control. The protective equipment such as masks was prepared enough. However, there were 34.1% of the medical institutions installing depressurized rooms, and 31.3% installing sputum sampling booths. Infection control measures in outpatient services therefore need further improvement.
