    本年度の研究は、昨年度に引き続き、「オルタナティブな教育」と「教育のオルタナティブ」に関するホリスティック教育学の枠組みによる研究を通して、「ホリスティック教育/ケア学」という新たな学的領域を構築する基盤を得ることを目的とした。 【課題A】Ⅰ「オルタナティブな教育」に関する従前の研究（１．「オルタナティブ」の３つの意味合い、２．オルタナティブ教育の法制化をめぐる動向、３．シュタイナー教育のホリスティックな人間観と教育観、４．ブーバー対話哲学とシュタイナー学校の教育現実）を、「別様の可能性からの問いかけ」という観点から再構成し、またⅡ「教育のオルタナティブ」に関する従前の研究（１．教育のパラドクスから「もうひとつの世界」へ、２．教育的日常のなかに働くスピリチュアリティ、３．別様の他者との「対話」の（不）可能性、４．人類史的な問いとしての「ケア」）を、「超越性をめぐる問い」という観点から再編して、単著書『教育のオルタナティブ：〈ホリスティック教育/ケア〉研究のために』（せせらぎ出版、2022年3月）のⅡ部8章として集成し、公刊した。ここに、〈ホリスティック教育/ケア〉に関する原理的研究が踏まえるべきオルタナティブ教育の展開に関する基盤的研究を完了した。 【課題B】上記を踏まえた〈ホリスティック教育/ケア〉に関する研究を構想するために、研究分担者各自の課題意識を共有し、今後の研究深化に関する研究討議（オンライン開催3回）を行った。それらの成果として、上掲の単著書の結章「〈ホリスティック教育/ケア〉研究のために」において、「ケアと教育の相即：生の全体性に根ざした教育/ケアEdu-care」「ホリスティックな全体性と超越性：オルタナティブ性を媒介して」「〈ホリスティック教育/ケア〉研究の現代的意義」を明らかにした。

    本研究のねらいは、「異質な他者とともにいることが多文化共生社会につながるのか」を明らかにすることにあった。ESDは人権侵害や環境破壊などの諸問題の学習を通して、自らの生活をふり返り、価値観や行動、ライフスタイルを変えていくことに狙いを置く教育活動である。その要となるのがESDの特徴の一つである「適用可能性」であり、それを高めるために自己と他者との関係性を捉えるケアリングを用いて、他人事とされる持続不可能な諸状況を自分事化していく変容のプロセスを捉えることが本研究の目的であった。 コロナ禍によって当初予定していた国内外スタディツアーを通した調査を実施することができないため、調査内容を変更した。ESDに関心のある若者（教育実践者（教歴20年未満）を含む）20名を対象に、約1年間のESDプログラムへの参加を通して、自らの生活と分断した問題を自分事化する自己変容のプロセスを捉える。調査は2020年12月から開始し、全15回のワークショップを無事2022年２月に終えることができた。 企画されたESDプログラムは、日常の暮らしから遠くの他者との関係、持続可能な開発から考える前半6回分と、身のまわりの他者との関係から持続可能な開発や日常を考える後半6回分からなり、コロナ禍であることから、オンラインでのワークショップにした。調査協力者は毎月1回開催するワークショップに参加し、各回の感想やコメントをノートに記述した。校務などの理由から途中辞退者もいたが、最終回まで参加した調査協力者からノートを回収し、回収できたノートから、分析に向けたデータ入力を始めた。自らの価値観を問い直したり、考え方に気づいたりすることを記録した文書の内容分析、およびワークショップで書かれた内容の分析は次年度に行う予定である。

    'A Study on Learning in Response to Global Issues with a Special Focus on Climate Change Education' took place with special focus on case studies and research on educational pracitces on climate change or global warming in and beyond Japan. Some of the research overseas planned at initial stage could not be implemented because of the COVID-19 Pandemic. However, a nation-wide study on climate change education in local jurisdictions was carried out and results of the study was accordingly reported. Furthermore learning materials such as panels and photo cards based on education on 'Harmony Principles' originally created in the UK were made. The results of these studies were widely shared in academic circles/societies and part of the nation-wide research was used publicly in a consideration in the Diet.

    In the first year, we conducted dialogical interviews with educational practitioners to confirm the effectiveness and issues of the dialogical methods. We also conducted basic research on dialogue and related concepts. In the second year, we made a report on the dialogical methods and made improvements based on the opinions of the floor. We also shared the results at an international conference. In the final year, based on the knowledge obtained, we developed "dialogue sheets" for practitioner education and training that are not limited to teachers, and made improvements from the views at the workshop. In addition, pamphlets of the completed "dialogue sheets" were created assuming use in future education and training of practitioners.
