    2021年度は仮想結び目の不変量の研究を行なった。古典的結び目ダイアグラムの各アークにはあるルールにそって番号付けができる。その番号付けをAlexander numberingと呼ぶ。しかし、仮想結び目ダイアグラムは常にAlexander numberingを持つとは限らない。Alexander numberingを持つ仮想結び目ダイアグラムをalmost classicalと呼ぶ。Goeritz不変量は仮想結び目ダイアグラムに対応している2種類のalmost classical仮想結び目ダイアグラムを用いて2種類定義される仮想結び目の不変量である。2021年度はこれらのGoeritz不変量のうち1つがある種の変形で不変となることを明らかにした。この不変量は溶接結び目の不変量でもある。 仮想結び目にoriented cut pointを付随させることによってAlexander number付可能となるが、このようなoriented cut pointの集合をcut systemと呼ぶ。 このcut systemとSatohとTaniguchiによって導入された仮想結目の不変量であるn-writheの関係を明らかにした。この関係からAlmost classicalな仮想結び目のn-writheは0であることを示すことができる。また、mを法とした剰余類でAlexander number付可能性な仮想結び目ダイアグラムをmod m almost classicalな仮想結び目ダイアグラムというが、mod m almost classicalな仮想結び目のn-writheはmを法として0となることも示すことができる。 さらに仮想結目ダイアグラムのincoherent double coverはalmost classicalなダイアグラムとある種の同値関係があることを示した。

    As generalizations of a quandle, we studied biquandles and symmetric quandles. The notion of a biquandle was re-defined by a system of axioms, and two additional structures, called T-structure and V-structure, were introduced. These structures are related to virtual knots and twisted virtual knots. We also gave a method of constructing a biquandle from a given quandle. By the method, one can easily and effectively construct many biquandles. Presentation of a symmetric quandle was studied, and a method of obtaining a presentation of the fundamental symmetric quandle of a manifold knot was introduced.
