    我が国の銀行中心型システムは、米英などの市場型システムとは異なるとされてきた。代表者らは、銀行型システムが証券市場の情報の非対称性の緩和、会計保守主義、裁量的な利益管理に与える効果を分析した。近年では、企業の海外進出や外国人株主の増加を受け、スチュワードシップコードの導入や独立取締役の義務付けなど、企業統治改革が進んでいる。本研究では、外国人投資家や機関投資家が企業業績に与える影響に関する分析を行った。

    本研究では、自然災害が与える影響に関して、市場の流動性や企業の財務データの面などから、多角的に分析することができた。データの汎用性や信頼性の観点から、研究対象を証券市場に上場する企業に限定して分析した。研究成果では、企業規模の大きさなどによって、市場の流動性に与える影響が異なることを示した。これらの結果は、中小企業に属する上場企業への影響が深刻になる可能性を示唆する内容であった。
